Daata Bray Restaurant

Had a fantastic dining experience at Daata in Bray! 🍛✨ From the moment we walked in, the restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere. The modern décor, stylish interiors, and soft lighting create a cosy yet vibrant setting that's perfect for a family dinner, date night, or catching up with friends. 😊 The restaurant felt lively without being too noisy, and the overall ambiance made the experience even more enjoyable.

For food, we ordered the Signature Butter Chicken, Afgani Chicken, Tandoori Naan, and Garlic Naan. 😋👌 The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and full of flavour, while the Afgani chicken was tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned with a lovely smoky touch. The naans were fresh, soft, and perfectly baked, making them the perfect accompaniment to the curries. 🧄🥖🔥

The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit, adding to the positive experience. 🙌

One thing to note is that parking can be quite difficult to find during peak hours 🚗🅿️, so it's worth allowing a little extra time if you're visiting on a busy evening.

Also, the prices are on the higher side compared to some other local options, 💰 but honestly, the quality of the food, the generous portions, the great service, and the lovely ambiance make it well worth it in the end. 👍✨

Overall, Daata delivers excellent food, a fantastic dining atmosphere, and great service. Definitely one of the best places in Bray for authentic and flavourful Indian cuisine. We'll definitely be back! 🌟🍽️❤️

There were four of us and we ordered few starters and mains and ended with dessert.
In starters:
Chicken tikka - amazing (5🌟)
Onion bhaji - great (4.5🌟)
My friends had:
Aloo Tikki Chaat - loved it
Lamb Chops - decent (4🌟)

Mains:
Special Afghani Chicken - 3🌟: I have seen the pictures of that dish in the reviews and it looked nothing like that when I got for what I ordered. Something seemed off. One of the person with me also said that it looks different from what I've had before. It didn't taste as amazing as people say it does or maybe it's my indian palate not that satisfied.

Lyallpuri paneer - my friend had it and he's vegetarian indian and he took felt it was just basic and simple, nothing amazing.

Lahori gosht- my irish friend had this and loved it, i didn't get to try it, so don't know how it actually was.

Chicken or Lamb Spinach dish - fourth friend had ordered that and it was alright, I did have a bite of it

And then we ended our meal with Pistachio Milkcake and it was pretty damn good - 5🌟

Overall, given the price of things, I'd have expected superior taste but it was just quite alright. But as a non Indian or pakistani, I would understand if these dishes taste amazing 🤗

It’s a gem hidden in bray. I was so impressed by the interiors and their choice of cutlery.
One of the man from their staff who had long hair was very kind and sweet.
Their mango lassi was to die for. Probably in my top 3. Although I did not enjoy the lamb biryani. It lacked flavours felt like I was eating pilau rice.
Everything else was fantastic.
